It’s time again to brush up on safety and see old friends!
Don’t miss this opportunity to brush up on your ballooning knowledge and safety skills and get together with fellow balloon pilots and crew for some good old fellowship and flying stories.

This one day safety seminar will be a single subject seminar covering balloon accidents and prevention. Speakers/presenters will include:

Pat Cannon - Past BFA National Champion, FAA DPE and Vice President Turbine Air, Inc.

Jerry Holmes - Balloon Pilot and Lineman for Oncor Energy - Power Line Safety

Keith Berry – President – Metroplex Ballooning Association and Balloon Seminar Meteorologist

Plano, TX Fire Department - Propane Safety and Burn Triage

We are also planning to have spokes people from the FAA to present and answer questions

The seminar has BFA Continuing Education Single Subject sanction approval. Participants will be submitted to qualify for a discount off of their annual balloon insurance premium.

Seminar fees include a continental breakfast, catered lunch and breaks. All day soft drink service (coffee, soda
and water) will be provided.

Non-Member: $55.00

Registration must be postmarked by February 29, 2007. An additional $20.00 late registration fee will be required after that date. No cancellations will be accepted after March 1, 2007.

Weather permitting, there will be an informal flight on Sunday morning following the seminar.
